Ending a contract before completion.

Mutual cancellation
Either side can propose cancellation. When both agree, unfunded milestones are closed and funded work is settled to the agreed point.
Unilateral cancellation
A one-sided cancellation may be escalated to the dispute process and is recorded on both accounts.
