Payment Policy

How money is intended to move once a licensed provider is connected.

This document is a working draft supplied as a starting point. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be reviewed before TaskLanceHub launches publicly.

Current status

No payment provider is connected yet. No money moves through TaskLanceHub today and no payment protection is in place. Any payment arranged privately between a client and a freelancer is entirely at their own risk.

Planned design

TaskLanceHub will integrate an authorised payment provider covering mobile money, cards and bank transfers. TaskLanceHub will not operate its own wallet or hold funds outside a regulated provider.

Platform fee

A configurable platform fee is deducted from client payments before payout. Example at a 10% rate: a client pays KSh 50,000, the platform fee is KSh 5,000, and the freelancer receives KSh 45,000.
